You know I've been thinking and i'm sure its been discussed here before. But I was just wondering if the songs the Beatles gave away were recorded by the Beatles such as "Bad To Me", "I'll Keep You Satisfied" and etc. Now I know some of the songs such as "I'll Be On My Way" appears on the BBC album and "Like Dreamers Do" appears on Anthology 1 and some others have been bootleged released. But all those other songs were those songs recorded but remain unreleased? Or were they written but not recorded?

Well, very hard to say, only the people who worked closely would know like George Martin etc. A good question with no real answers, sorry

Where songs were specifically written for other artists such as bad to me there will almost certainly be a recording of some kind. Even if its just a rough demo. they did these as a guide for the people that were recording their songs

Almost certain, I had a rough demo of "World Without Love" they did for Peter And Gordon at one time. The problem is most are either very bad quality or have been lost. Some the artist might have taken the demos with them to practice and most likely lost them after the track was covered the way they wanted it. Spot on though as usual Macca on your reply, mine was just a general reply, then again, what do I know

Trouble is time, the more the un-released stuff lays around, the chance it will not sound very good. I really think most of it is out and the rest is lost now. Only people close to any of these guide recordings know. The record companies are not going to tell anyone until they get ready to release it. As I say if any exists at all.
